Fish cake from Buenaventura

Ingredients:

4 pounds (2kgs) of fish fillets 

1 1 / 2 pound (750 grams) of cooked potatoes and cut into slices 
1 cup refried1 cup milk4 eggs, beaten 
1 cup toasted bread crumbs and grated

Preparation:

In a greased baking dish place a layer of potatoes, a fillet, potato and one other last of fillets.

Each layer of banana leaves with beaten eggs, milk, fried and salt.

Cover the pan with a final layer of bread crumbs and baked, it takes pin a preheated oven at 300 degrees about 30 minutes.

Refried:

Ingredients:

2 ripe tomatoes, peeled and chopped 
4 stalks green onions chopped 
2 peeled and chopped onion 
4 finely chopped garlic 
2 peppers, chopped Creole 
1 chopped green pepper1 tablespoon chopped chillangua 
1 tablespoon chopped pennyroyal 
2 tablespoons oil 
Cumin Salt and pepper to taste

Preparation:

Grind everything with stone hand and starts to fry in oil, stirring until a smooth sauce for about 10 minutes.

You can increase or decrease the ingredients as the use to which its intended.

This preparation is used to flavor many dishes, just as the hogo, hogao,and many other similar preparations.
